Black Angus Burger

  • 2 foodhaus Black Angus Burgers
  • 2 foodhaus Bourbon BBQ buns
  • 1 Develey Burger sauce 250ml
  • 2 slices Arla mozzarella
  • 2 foodhaus eggs
  • 1 pack Alion lettuce hearts
  • For the caramelized onions:
  • 125g Ardo shallots
  • 1 tbsp Lurpak lightly salted butter


In a pan, cook the shallots along with a tablespoon of butter on medium heat for about 20 minutes, until caramelized.

For the burger:
Preheat your grill or pan and cook the Black Angus burgers from frozen on medium heat for approximately 8' on each side or until cooked to your preference. While cooking the burgers, fry two eggs in a pan and heat the buns on the grill. Spread a generous amount of the burger sauce on the bottom bun, place the lettuce leaf on top, followed by the burger, cheese and caramelized onions. Finish with the fried egg on top and enjoy!
