Marinated chicken leg piri-piri

  • Ingredients
  • 1 chicken leg pack 5 pieces 2000g
  • Ingredients for the marinade Piri – Piri:
  • 2 tbsp Ardo red chilli cubes 250g
  • Juice of two lemons
  • 3 tbsp Ardo shallot 250g
  • 2 tbsp Ardo diced garlic
  • 2 tbsp TOP apple cider vinegar 500ml
  • 4 tbsp Horio Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2tsp Maldon sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Maldon pepper


1. Put all the ingredients for the marinade in a blender and grind them for a minute. Marinate the chicken legs in a bowl and put them in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

2. Remove them from the refrigerator and place them in an ovenproof dish or if you want, hang them on the oven rack. 

3. Place the rack on top of the oven with a baking sheet underneath to let all the liquid fall through. 

4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.

5. Serve with a green salad.
