Pesto and cheddar Christmas tree

  • 2 Alfa puff pastry
  • 1 cup Agnesi Pesto
  • 200g Mature Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 egg for brushing


Defrost the puff pastry and open it flat. Cut in the shape of a Christmas tree (saving the cut outs).Slice the sides (1.5 cm wide  for each slice) to be rolled together for the brunches.

Spread the pesto all over and add the grated cheddar on top. Place over it the second puff pastry sheet and cut it out as the bottom one. Twirl the brunches together. Brush with a bitten egg. Bake for 20-25’ until light brown and serve inmediately.
